Who sucks? I suck!

Wow. So I didn't mean to tease you with the not updating. It's just that time in the school year when things get a bit behind and I have to work a little harder to get caught up.

I am busy but happier than I have been for a while, in a way. More content, I guess, would be a better word. I'm actually in therapy right now and dealing with some stuff, which is helpful. I'm also trying very hard to work fewer hours at school and not be so worried about things there. I'm not volunteering for new stuff and just trying to do what I can without being a perfectionist.

I like my new students so far, although two honors students (girls) nearly came to blows today in my class. That was a first! I'll have to tell you the story later, as we're about to go to Village Inn to meet up with friends. Yes, it's late and it's a school night, but I enjoy it so we're going regularly.

I still miss Oxford (a lot) and still wish I could just be a writer, but I know some things have to wait (again). It's sad but true, and the fact is I'm a damn good teacher and I do like teaching.

Okay, I'm off to pancakes. Wierd entry, huh?
