1. What's your opinion on sex without emotional commitment?
I have a problem with it. I would never do that.

No but my cats do (theirs, not mine).

As it turns out, I am.

Lots of stuff. Many food and environmental allergies.

Too long to list. I'm a sensitive person. Of Mice and Men comes to mind, as does Life of Pi.

6. Does it get annoying when somebody says they'll call you, but doesn't?
I never call anybody and nobody calls me, so no.

7. What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
I have to be in the mood for ice cream and then it depends on what mood I'm in. I like very rich chocolate with liquid fudge in it as well as Hagen Daas Dulce de Leche.

8. If someone you had no interest in dating expressed interest what would you say to them?
I'm flattered but no thanks.

9. What would you rather be doing right now?
Spending time with my husband.

None. I am thinking of the theme song from The Simpsons.

12. What did you dress up as for your first Halloween?
I think a clown. My mom or grandmother made matching costumes for my sister and I. They look creepy now.

Buffy. That's totally easy.

14. Do you get along better with the same or opposite sex?
Opposite usually. Although I strongly prefer female students. But most of my friends tend to be men.

15. Can others make you cry easily?
Yes. I'm sensitive, as I said.

I'm sure one of my students. They can be really immature.

17. Are you picky about spelling and grammar?
LOL. I'm an English teacher. What do you think? Actually I'm not as picky as you'd probably assume.

18. Do you pay attention to calories on the back of packages?:
No, but I do read ingredients to check for vegetarian-friendliness and lack of harmful chemicals.

19. If you could be any type of fruit what would you be?
What an odd question. A banana?

20. Were you a "planned" child?
Yes.

22. What was the last thing to scare you?
Something this weekend. I assume this means scare, not startle.

23. How many hours of sleep do you need to function?
5. I prefer 10.

26. Have you ever been attracted to someone physically unattractive?
Yes. In high school I liked a younger, really goofy-looking guy with whom I attended my senior prom. He didn't like me back. Before that I liked an older, really goofy-looking guy. I went on a date with him once.

27. What personality trait is a must-have in the opposite(same) sex?
Sensitivity.

28. Do you enjoy traveling via airplanes?
No. But when I'm going someplace cool I don't mind, especially when I fly Virgin.

29. Would you ever date someone covered in tattoos?
My initial reaction is no because I don't like tattoos, but if the person was really sweet and caring I would overlook that.

No, but I've only dated three people in my life.

I don't care. I haven't been on a first date in 13 years.

Sometimes I think I want a nose ring.

Depends.

I speak Spanish fairly fluently.

Definitely not.

I don't remember. I get stared at a lot more than I get "hit on."

Occasionaly. I don't wear them very often, but sometimes if my feet are sore or cold.

Mashed potatoes.

One sister. I'm the baby.

44. What's the sweetest thing you've ever done for anyone?
I have done a lot of nice things, honestly. A LOT. The sweetest? Maybe making my husband a book listing the reasons I love him? Maybe making my dad a photo album since he didn't have any of our baby pictures?

A couple of weeks ago to Will's wedding.
