Random

I have had several entry ideas recently but no time and not enough for a good one, so I'm glomming them together.

• I went to the doctor. I have Strep. Got some medicine, gargled salt water, was back at work today. Still have a sore throat and very swollen glands, but I'm definitely on the upswing.
• I love comfort food - maybe because I was born in Missouri. My favorite food is mashed potatoes. I also love pie of a variety of types, but pumpkin is probably my favorite. You might think that comfort is a difficulty for a vegetarian, but I don't find it a handicap. Tonight I had a fantastic lentil loaf. If you've never tried a lentil loaf and you like comfort food, find and consume one! My only problem with them is that every time I have one I overeat.
• It's Pi day. I wasn't that into it, well, ever, but since I read Life of Pi I enjoy acknowledging it.
• I am up too late. I always watch [adult swim] at night as I'm lonely and it makes it easier to relax. Tonight I realized my nerdiness again with the following internal monologue during Family Guy: "Oh, it's a chicken fight. I have plenty of time to clean the litter boxes without missing much."
• Andrew's last weekend of his play is this weekend. This will be my third weekend attending. I've always been fiercely loyal and suportive like that. Things are very slowly improving. I don't want to say much more. We still love each other and are still very much married, though still not living together.
